It’s wonderful to hear about the community initiative taken by East Gorham Fire and Rescue to enhance communication and share important information with the residents. The addition of the two community message boards at the Tarmola Fire Hall and the North Branch Rd Fire Hall, placed beside the pop can/bottle recycling bins, provides a centralized location for residents to access up-to-date information and local content. The gesture of Kathy Leathorn and her family, who generously donated all  materials for building these message boards in loving memory of Beverly Albert, is truly heartwarming. Their selfless contribution not only benefits the community by facilitating better communication but also serves as a touching tribute to Beverly Albert. The addition of a small plaque on the boards to express gratitude and commemorate Beverly Albert is a thoughtful touch.

Such community-driven initiatives play a crucial role in fostering a sense of connection and unity among residents. It’s evident that the East Gorham Fire and Rescue team values and appreciates the support from individuals like Kathy Leathorn and her family.

The community message boards will undoubtedly serve as valuable hubs for sharing information, promoting local events, and strengthening the sense of community in East Gorham. Congratulations to everyone involved in making this project a reality, and a heartfelt thank you to Kathy Leathorn and her family for their meaningful contribution.
